We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Tooling Lead / Senior Jira Administrator to ensure continuity, stability, and effective use of Jira and Confluence Cloud during a transition period.

The role covers both technical platform responsibilities and functional Jira administration, supporting a large, enterprise Atlassian environment with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Stability & Technical Ownership

Ensure stability, availability, and reliability of Jira and Confluence Cloud
Handle incidents, issues, and technical troubleshooting
Coordinate with Atlassian Support and marketplace vendors
Maintain and support existing integrations with enterprise systems (e.g. ITSM, identity, reporting, CI/CD)
Configure and maintain Jira Automation rules
Troubleshoot integration and automation issues
Support platform hygiene, performance, and general reliability

Jira & Confluence Administration

Administer Jira and Confluence Cloud day‑to‑day
Configure and maintain:
Workflows, issue types, fields, screens, and schemes
Projects, spaces, boards, filters, dashboards, and reports
Support creation, maintenance, and clean‑up of projects and spaces
Support access management and permissions
Translate requirements into practical Jira/Confluence configurations
Document configurations, changes, and known patterns

Stakeholder & Delivery Support

Act as a central point of contact for Jira/Confluence questions and requests
Support delivery, planning, and engineering teams in effective tool usage
Work pragmatically across business and technical stakeholders
Ensure changes are delivered with quality and minimal disruption

Required Experience & Certifications

Experience

Strong hands‑on experience administering Jira Cloud in a complex or enterprise environment
Solid experience with:
Workflows, schemes, permissions, automation
Project and space configuration
Experience supporting Jira and Confluence at scale
Comfortable operating independently in a fast‑moving environment

Required Certification

Atlassian Certified Professional – Jira Administrator for Cloud (ACP‑120)
(or equivalent, recent enterprise‑level Jira Cloud administration experience)

Nice to Have

Atlassian Certified Professional – Managing Jira Projects for Cloud (ACP‑620)
Confluence Cloud certification
Experience with Jira APIs and integrations
Experience with ITSM tools (e.g. ServiceNow)
Familiarity with enterprise SaaS environments

Users are supported effectively
Configuration and technical changes are delivered with quality
No disruption to delivery, planning, or reporting
Platform knowledge is documented and transferable
